A commission for the McLean School in Potomac, Maryland, this mustang is meant to embody lively spirit, heartiness, and the school’s values of resourcefulness, independence, and caring relationships. Rather than portraying a high energy, rearing horse, I created a pose that aims to welcome students and families.
